I am grateful for the experiences I gathered in a wide variety of industries and roles. Together, they craft my passion for the trinity of Innovation, Startups and Education.
I started my career as a Strategy and Management Consultant specialized in business case development in the Netherlands. Sensing a need for a different pace and environment I pursued my MBA in Singapore and subsequently relocate to the tiny island. Upon graduating I was given the unique opportunity to take up a Lecturer position focused on engineering leadership development and technology commercialization (deeptech). I enjoyed the classroom and research environment but my desire to go beyond the classroom and see through value propositions drove me back to industry. The valuable methodologies and projects allowed me to become an Innovation specialist focused on driving a culture of innovation and customer-centricity within client organizations.
Taking all the prior experiences, I now run Persistensie, where I help uncover new businesses and reshape how companies and engage with their customers to innovate.
I strongly believe in a customer-focused mindset in whatever I do. Whether it is B2B, B2C or Randall-2-Student, the focus is always on identifying the unique needs and enabling growth with a customized and personal touch.

Selection of Past Experiences
Led a 4-month Regional EMEA, 6 country ideation programme for US company to identify new routes to market and select projects to experiment with customers. Coordinated with regional innovation champions and facilitated online ideation sessions and coaching sessions with 45 teams, generating 173 ideas. Narrowed the selection to 2-3 experiments per country.
IT vendor selection for CRM system in China – contacting vendors, scheduling vendor demos and selection of vendors for POC.
Designed and taught innovation programs for ~6 years at the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Engineering, on Technology Commercialization or Market Innovation. Worked with technologies across all Engineering and Science disciplines. Mentored 65+ teams in 13-week acceleration programs. Supported teams in winning government grants or raising funds from investors.
Advisor for business model, growth strategy and fundraising support for Shala.land – World’s first online yoga platform for students AND teachers.
Customer story gathering and documenting in cartoon form for easy communication and sharing within the organization. First-person interviews help organizations better understand their consumers’ lives.
